When printing any item in Reckon Accounts Premier 2018 R1 or R2 you and you receive the receive the error “Warning. The file you specified cannot be opened. Make sure that it is not currently being used by another program or a read only file. The windows error was “The file exists”.
You must then press OK button three or four times then the print settings window opens, press print, then the same message appears. Press OK multiple times and the print works.
The solution is as follows:
- Change the permissions on the folder “C:/ProgramData/Intuit/Reckon Accounts 2018” to Full access for all users
